Can you come out for just one outlet or switch?
Yes. A small job is a valid reason to contact Guardian. Tell us what needs attention and where the property is so we can discuss the visit, scope, and availability.
Can I add an outlet where there is not one now?
Yes. The wiring route, access, circuit requirements, and intended use need to be reviewed. Share the location and what you plan to plug in rather than assuming the nearest existing outlet can supply it.
Will any dimmer or smart switch work with my lights?
No. The control, fixture, lamps, and existing installation need to be compatible. Send model numbers or product links before buying, and we can discuss the combination.
Does an outlet that stopped working just need replacement?
Not always. The cause may involve the device or another part of the circuit. Explain the symptom so it can be evaluated before a repair is selected.
What if an outlet is hot, discolored, or making unusual sounds?
Stop using the affected device and arrange professional evaluation. Do not remove its cover or recreate the problem for a photo. For smoke, fire, or immediate danger, get to safety and call 911.
