Map the way the space will work
Kitchen appliances, furniture layouts, lighting positions, office equipment, and outdoor connections can all affect electrical planning. Mark proposed outlets, switches, and fixtures on your plans, even if they are preliminary.
Separate rough-in from finish work
New wiring and electrical boxes belong to an earlier stage than final fixtures and devices. Knowing when walls will be open and when finishes are planned helps coordinate visits with other trades.
