Access shapes the work
A new outlet on an open framed wall is a different project from one in a finished room. Tell us about attic or crawlspace access, nearby service equipment, and any surfaces that need to be protected.
Repair or replace with a purpose
Describe loose-fitting receptacles, intermittent power, failed switches, or concerns about GFCI protection. If an outlet is unusually hot, discolored, or making abnormal sounds, stop using it and arrange professional assessment.
