A new dryer, a workshop tool or a mini-split needs an electrical plan that fits the equipment. Guardian installs dedicated circuits (separate electrical supplies for particular equipment, which help avoid overloading shared circuits) for homes and businesses, from the panel to the point of use.

Match the circuit to the equipment
Review the model number, electrical rating and existing supply before choosing wiring or protection.
Plan the connection and cable route
Confirm the mounting or outlet location, access, disconnects and any work through finished areas.
Confirm scope, permits and scheduling
We identify permit and inspection requirements for the property jurisdiction. Utility coordination is included when the work affects its equipment or supply. You receive the proposed scope before approving the work.
Complete the work and check operation
We complete the agreed electrical work, test the relevant installation and explain operation, findings and any follow-up. Required official inspections are a separate part of completion.
A dedicated branch circuit supplies an identified appliance or piece of equipment instead of sharing its available current with unrelated loads. This can be required by the equipment instructions or appropriate when a shared circuit cannot support the intended use. It can help separate a freezer, microwave or workshop machine from other devices that would otherwise compete for the same circuit.
A new receptacle added to an existing shared circuit does not create that separation. Guardian checks the exact equipment, the condition and use of the existing circuit, and the electrical capacity upstream. If an appliance already trips a breaker on a suitable dedicated supply, adding another circuit may not solve the fault; diagnosis comes first.
Tell us about the refrigerator or freezer, microwave, electric range, dryer, garage equipment or workshop tool you plan to use. We can discuss moving an existing connection as well as adding a new one. For several appliances, provide the complete list and explain which equipment operates together. The plan should suit the intended use; not every appliance has identical circuit requirements.
For a mini-split project, send the equipment schedule from your HVAC installer and the intended indoor and outdoor locations. We coordinate the electrical circuit and connection scope with the equipment installation. Heating, cooling, refrigerant and mechanical work belong in the appropriate contractor’s scope. The same early coordination helps with pumps and other fixed equipment.
The distance from the panel is only part of the job. Attic or crawlspace access, finished walls, a concrete floor, exterior routing and equipment placement all affect installation. Let us know whether the room is occupied or being remodeled and who is handling wall repairs. If several future additions are planned, tell us now so the electrical work can be considered together.
No. Dedicated describes what the circuit serves. A dedicated circuit (a separate electrical supply for particular equipment, which helps avoid overloading a shared circuit) may be 120V, 240V or another supply appropriate to the equipment.
Yes. Circuit identification can be part of the diagnostic or planning scope. It helps explain why equipment loses power together and whether a new separate supply would address the problem.
No. An added outlet may share an existing circuit. A dedicated circuit (a separate electrical supply for particular equipment, which helps avoid overloading a shared circuit) is planned for a particular load. Tell us what will be plugged in so we can recommend the appropriate scope.
Not automatically. Guardian evaluates the equipment load, existing demand, panel condition and suitable protective equipment. Available breaker spaces alone do not prove spare capacity. The options may include an appropriate new circuit, a subpanel or a separately justified service upgrade; the assessment determines the scope.
Yes. Guardian installs 240-volt appliance and equipment circuits when appropriate for the project. The voltage, current, connection and protection requirements must match the specific equipment.
Guardian offers free quotes for planned projects. A fault-finding visit or service call can involve a diagnostic charge, explained before booking. Access, equipment requirements and the work identified determine the proposed repair or installation scope.
Share the property address, the problem or project you have in mind, and equipment details when available. Photos of accessible equipment and the work area can help us plan the next step. Do not remove electrical covers or expose wiring to take photographs.
